Detroit: Become Human" will finally be released next weekend, May 25, and a new Japan-only trailer has been released!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SEE) has released a new Japan-exclusive trailer from "Detroit: Become Human" for PS4, scheduled for release on Friday, May 25, 2018.

Detroit: Become Human" is the latest title from French game developer Quantic Dream, creators of high-quality adventure games such as "HEAVY RAIN" (PS4/PS3) and "BEYOND: Two Souls" (PS4/PS3). This is the latest title from French game maker Quantic Dream.

The story takes place in Detroit in the year 2038, where "androids" have developed AI and robotics that have given them intelligence and appearance beyond that of humans. While society enjoys unprecedented affluence, the rising unemployment rate and widening disparity between the rich and poor have increased anti-android sentiment. Machines that act on their own initiative, as if they were human beings. Is it life or a thing? What is a human being?　What is life?

The investigator android "Connor" works with the police to solve the case of an android that has gone out of control.

Marcus" stands up for the rights of androids who are treated like objects or slaves, even though they have abilities equal to or greater than humans.

Carla," who saves her daughter from being abused by her father and roams Detroit in search of a safe haven.

Players will be confronted with these questions over and over again through the three androids.

In this "open scenario adventure," the story changes dramatically depending on the player's actions and choices. Decisions, statements, and actions taken by the player in the story will change the situation, and have a significant impact on the development and ending of the story itself.

By actively making a series of choices, players will choose the fates of various characters and the fate of the world of humans and androids. While set in the near future, the game is also about human beings in the present day, so players can enjoy an unprecedentedly realistic and "personal" storytelling experience while being emotionally moved.
