The third season of "Nobunaga's Ninja " is a short anime based on a four-frame manga of the same name (created by Naoki Shigeno) serialized in Young Animal (Hakusensha), and it has many hidden fans due to its excellence as a gag anime about the Warring States period, The third season will finally depict the "Battle of Anegawa" and the "Battle of Ishiyama," two of the most important battles on Nobunaga's road to unifying the country. If you are a history fan, you absolutely have to watch it! This is a must-see for history buffs!

Episode 58 "Tokko Yaro Endo-san

In the previous episode, Naotaka Magara was defeated in single combat with Tadakatsu Honda. The Asai-Asakura allied forces were in a state of total collapse, but there was only one general who was determined to take Nobunaga's head off. That was Endo Naotune, a vassal of the Asai family. Endo is a military commander friendly to the Oda family among the vassals of the Asai family, and he saved Chidori's life when the main character, Chidori, infiltrated the Asai family. For this reason, he was originally opposed to the "Battle of Anegawa," but as is typical of warlords who value duty, he is a "man among men" who thoroughly follows the decisions of his lord, Nagamasa Asai.

On the battlefield, where defeat was imminent, Endo came up with the idea of sneaking into the enemy camp as a warrior on the Oda side, and then attempting to take Nobunaga's head off. Endo approached Oda's main camp alone against his allies, who were running away from the battle. When Nobunaga finally comes into sight, Chidori recognizes the familiar face of Endo just in time!

Episode 59: "Go beyond my corpse."

Endo finally catches sight of Nobunaga. At the moment he raised his spear and was about to take Nobunaga's head. Chidori, noticing this, cut up Endo's spear in half from below with her newly reworked dagger "Kazakiri". Kyusaku, the younger brother of Takenaka Hanbei, who also remembered Endo's face, knocked him down with a single sword. Oda's vassals press Endo to finish him off. But Chidori stops them by saying, "Wait! Chidori stops them. Can't you wait! Mitsuhide Akechi slashes at Endo, but Chidori stops him. Mitsuhide is incontinent at the sight of her ghastly expression (laugh). Chidori did not want to let Endo, the man who saved her life, be killed right here and now.

'I won't let you die! Chidori recommends Endo to surrender and serve as a vassal of the Oda family. I see, you are the ninja I rescued that time. You have a gentle ninja. For a moment, it seemed that Endo had agreed to the request, but the next moment, Endo drew his sword and slashed at Chidori. He said, "If we are enemies, we must kill each other, even if we are brothers and sisters. It is not kindness not to kill! and he raises his voice in the true spirit of the samurai and searches for Nobunaga. However, Endo was already hemoptysis and blinded by Takenaka Hisasaku's sword. Chidori understood Endo's feelings as he approached this main camp in search of a place to die. I am Chidori, Nobunaga-sama's ninja. That is the name of the one who will kill you!" Chidori attacked Endo with a sword and put an end to him. While being struck down, he said, "That is good. I am the one who is naive," Endo says, and falls down.

What the hell? Endo, what the hell? And Chidori, what the hell! The screen was blurred by my tears! I'm sad, I'm cool, I can't take it anymore!

The serious development of "Nobunaga's Ninja" has already gone completely too far beyond being a gag anime. What will happen next time!
