Isekai Izakaya - Izakaya Nobu in the Ancient Capital of Aethelia - Episode 6: Kisses are delicious tempura, but it's hard to throw away fried ones too: ......

Isekai Izakaya: Izakaya Nobu in the Ancient Capital of Aethelia" (hereafter "Nobu") is a work based on the recently popular theme of otherworldly things and food. The owner of "Izakaya Nobu" is located on a desolate street in Kyoto, but somehow the front entrance of the restaurant is connected to the medieval European-style otherworldly city of Aethelia, the ancient capital of Japan. Nobuyuki Yazawa, the proprietor, and Shinobu Senke, a waiter, run the restaurant for the residents of this other world.

People from all walks of life, including guards, craftsmen, merchants, and aristocrats, come to "Nobu" to relieve their fatigue of the day with good sake and snacks....... The story depicts a scene similar to that of Japanese businessmen drinking at an izakaya.

In episode 6, Hans is told by his colleague Nikolaus at the guardhouse that today is "kissing day" at Nobu, but in the middle of the story, the important Nikolaus is taken to Nobu by the ogre company commander Bertholdt for detention, leaving the truth unknown.

When Hans arrives at the restaurant, it has just opened, but quite a few male customers have already started drinking inside. Hans is about to ask Shinobu-chan, who has brought him "otoshi" (chicken and taro stew), "Hey, Shinobu-chan, I'd like to ask you something ......," but he is still embarrassed to tell Shinobu-chan directly, so he says , "It's nothing. Hans. Shinobu-chan looks strangely good-humored as she takes the order for "Triaesnama."

Hans is getting used to using chopsticks after he manages to grab the taro in the "otoshi" (chicken and taro stew), which is quite slippery to use with chopsticks. It is not customary to use chopsticks in the ancient city of Aetolia, but Hans was practicing how to use them in order to enjoy his meal at Nobu. Hans seemed to be enjoying the "Triaesnama" that was brought to him, and I felt an urge to quench my thirst with a glass of draft beer.

After Hans had finished his drink, I was checking to see what the other customers around me were ordering when I noticed that the "otoshi" of the other customers was different from my own and asked Tyshaw , "Do they change the otoshi depending on the customer? When I asked Taisho if he was changing the o-toshi for each customer, he replied, "Each customer has his/her own preference. I change the type and serving size of the o-tosi accordingly. Hans is impressed by the way he is paying attention to his customers. But it's wonderful to have a restaurant that looks so closely at the tastes of its customers. ......

When Shinobu-chan came to take our order, I asked her if she would like to order a "lech" and if she would recommend anything else to snack on. Shinobu-chan said with a big smile on her face, "Actually, today is 'kissday'. Hans then follows up by saying, "I'm a suck er for a kiss," which makes Hans realize that there are many customers at Nobu today. Hans and his friends had some kind of a dastardly imagination about "kiss day," but when Taisho said, "I like kisses, too," Hans said, "You kissed Taisho? Hans is a little disappointed when Tyshaw reveals that kiss is the name of a fish, saying, "In our country, it's a happy fish, which is written as 'joy fish.

With the identity of "Kiss Day" revealed, today's main dish, "Kisu no Tempura" (Tempura of Squirrel) appeared on the table. Tempura seems to differ between the Kanto and Kansai regions in terms of the batter and oil used, but I am fine with either as long as it tastes good. ......(¡Ω).

The second half of the live-action part, "Nobu + PLUS," is the third installment of "Kenichi Nagira's Search for Nobu Izakaya," in which singer-songwriter and TV personality Kenichi Nagira searches for exquisite dishes that have appeared in "Nobu." This time, at "Tempura Ajikaku" in Roppongi's Imoarai-zaka, Nagira sipped on a brown, bubbling drink (draft beer) and said, "I feel like I'm going to get punished if I drink something like this when the world is still in operation, but I've never been punished before, " which was a light laugh, as if he were a seasoned TV personality. But I've never had it happen.

The "kiss (sillago)" that appeared in this article seems to be in season from now on, so I would like to enjoy a highball of "Sunshine Premium Wine Cask Finish" that I bought the other day tonight while searching for a good tempura restaurant on a food log.
