NOSTALGIC TRAIN, a first-person adventure set in rural Japan with a railroad, will be available on Steam!
Narrative and environmental artist Tatami Room announced that "NOSTALGIC TRAIN," a personally produced first-person ADV / walking simulator for PC set in rural Japan, will be available on Steam on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.
NOSTALGIC TRAIN is a first-person ADV / walking simulator that uses Unreal Engine 4 to recreate a nostalgic Japanese countryside with a single-track railroad.
The game features the rural landscape during summer vacation, the nostalgic smell of wooden station buildings, trains that come only a few times a day, the dazzling sun, the sound of cicadas, and the faint scent of sea breeze. The dazzling sun, the sound of cicadas, and the faint scent of sea breeze. The small but dense open world is set in the countryside called "Summer Fog," where the scenery of running trains stimulates the imagination.
Two game modes are included: "Two Flickers at the End of the Journey," a story mode that aims to provide a fulfilling narrative experience similar to a good short story or movie, and "Free Mode," which allows players to freely roam around the world and enjoy simple train driving and other activities. You can enjoy the beautiful, nostalgic Japanese countryside to your heart's content.
Why not enjoy a short trip to "Summer Fog" this summer?
