The popular work "Nidaime no Seikatsu in Another World," which has sold over 1 million copies in total, will begin TV anime broadcast in October 2018!

The popular light novel "Nidaime no Seikatsu wo Isekai de", which has sold over 1 million copies of novels and comics and is currently being published by HJ Novels, will be adapted into a TV anime! The broadcast schedule, staff information, and anime teaser visual have been announced.

The anime adaptation of the popular light novel written by Main, serialized on the online novel submission website "Shosetsu-ka-ro" and published by HJ Novels (Hobby Japan), will be broadcast on TV.
The main character, Renya Kunugi, who is supposed to have passed away at the age of 94, is asked by his "creator," who looks like a young girl, to live a second life in another world--an otherworldly reincarnation.
As he rescues women, fights off insolent adventurers, and exterminates monsters in his reincarnation, he depicts his life in another world as he once again uses the abilities he cultivated in his previous life.

The TV anime adaptation of this work is now set to begin in October 2018. The anime teaser visual and main staff have been revealed.

The TV anime will be directed by Keitaro Motonaga, director of "Date A Live" and "Jormungandr," and the series composition by Takamitsu Kouno, director of "Oni-Zan" and "Utawarerumono: The False Mask. The script is by Takamitsu Kouno, Doji Waita, Kojiro Nakamura, and Nichigure Chabosan, and the character design is by Makoto Takaboko. Animation production will be handled by Seven Arcs Pictures, creators of "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Reflection" and "Which Sinners Dance with Dragons.
