Anime "LOST SONG", OP&ED theme songs to be released today, May 23! Comments from Konomi Suzuki & Yukari Tamura have arrived!

LOST SONG", a TV anime currently airing on TOKYO MX1, Sun TV, etc., has released its OP&ED theme song CDs by Konomi Suzuki and Yukari Tamura, who play the two heroines, on May 23 (Wed.), and comments from both girls have arrived.

LOST SONG" is an original royal fantasy anime about the fate of two girls who can sing "songs" that heal wounds, create water, create wind, and create various other miracles. The double starring role of Tamura Yukari and Suzuki Konomi has also become a topic of conversation. Suzuki Konomi plays the role of Rin, a cheerful girl who lives in a lush, remote village and is a bit of a gourmand, while Tamura Yukari plays Finis, a diva who spends her lonely days deep in the royal palace in the glamorous royal city. Original story, director, and screenplay are by Junpei Morita (MAGES.), character design by Tomonori Fukuda (MAGES.), and main character design by Shizue Kaneko of "Doraemon the Movie" fame. Production is by LIDENFILMS x Dwango (co-production).

The OP&ED theme song CD, performed by Konomi Suzuki and Yukari Tamura, was released today, May 23 (Wed.).
Comments from Konomi Suzuki, who sings the opening theme song "Sing it and there you are", and Yukari Tamura, who sings the ending theme song "TEARS ECHO" as Finis, the character she plays, have arrived in connection with the release, and will be introduced below. Also, "TEARS ECHO" includes the coupling song, "Ends of the World" sung by Finis in episode 7 of the same work, so be sure to check it out.

Konomi Suzuki

─ This is the theme song for the work in which you are the lead voice actor. What did you pay special attention to when singing the song?

I think I was able to sing the song more naturally with Lynn's thoughts and feelings on my shoulders because I lived in the work as Lynn this time. In particular, Lynn and I have many things in common, and our feelings toward the song were in sync, so I hope my honest feelings were conveyed to the audience.

─ ─ Please tell us what we can expect to hear in this song.

The song is fast and refreshing, but it also has a strong message that makes you want to cry. I like it here because the song is led by the melody and the emotion overflows straight out! I would like to say, "I love the song," but I would like you to listen to it in its entirety!

─ I understand that you co-wrote the lyrics with Aki Hata.

It was very difficult to expand the lyrics from the second verse. The song is structured to the E melody, so after the first verse, when the song starts out with hope, I wondered how to make a strong decision, "I have to sing it for you! I was very worried about how to reach the strong determination of "I have to sing for you!
I hope you can feel the conflict and happiness I feel when I sing because I want to see my loved ones and want them to be there.

─ ─ Do you have a message for your fans?

This song is about "singing," and I feel that I found the answer to what I have been singing about in this song. I will continue to sing it with great care, and I hope you will continue to support me in the anime as well!

■Yukari Tamura as Finis

─ ─ The ending theme song is a character song for Finis, the character you play.

I tried to sing the song with the character's feelings in mind, as a matter of course, since it is a character song and not a personal song.

─ ─ What is the best way to listen to this song? Or, what was your impression of this song when you first heard it?

I thought it was a very sad song. I received the song after a lot of postrecording had progressed, so I could really understand the character's feelings. Her feelings for Henry are very sad.

─ ─ Do you have a message for your fans?

I think this CD will be picked up by people who like "Lost Song" and also like Finis. I am glad that you like Finis. Please continue to support us until the last episode!
