PS4 "Fire Pro Wrestling World" to be released on August 9! Limited edition with New Japan Pro-Wrestling specs will also be released!

Spike Chunsoft announced the release of the PS4 action "Fire Pro Wrestling World" on Thursday, August 9, 2018.

Fire Pro Wrestling World" is the latest title in the popular "Fire Pro Wrestling" series, nicknamed "Phi Pro," and retains the 2D graphics and rhombus-shaped ring that characterize the "Phi Pro" franchise. The newest title in the popular "Fire Pro Wrestling" series, nicknamed "FIRE PRO WRESTLING," retains the 2D graphics and the rings of the "FIRE PRO" series, but adds a variety of special rules, including battle royal, cage matches, and death matches using barbed wire and fluorescent lights.

The "Edit Mode," one of the most exciting features of the series, allows users to edit not only the appearance, techniques, and CPU logic of wrestlers, but also the referee, ring, championship belt, and many other elements in the game.

In addition, a variety of new moves have been added, including "exchange of blows," which allows players to engage in chop and elbow fights, the short-range lariat, and the twisted pull-down facebuster. The game also features the series' first "Online Mode," which allows players to enjoy heated matches with players from all over the world.

In addition to the standard edition, a limited edition "Fire Pro Wrestling World: New Japan Pro-Wrestling PREMIUM EDITION" with New Japan Pro-Wrestling specifications will be released!　This limited edition includes three collaboration goods with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (wrestler mini figure / collaboration T-shirt / collaboration towel). The packaged version will also include a 48-page booklet "New Japan Pro-Wrestling Wrestler's Name Book" as a pre-order bonus, so don't forget to pre-order if you want to be sure to get your hands on it!

In addition to the standard version, the downloadable version available for pre-order on the PlayStation Store includes the Digital Deluxe Edition, which comes with a Season Pass that includes the main game and three DLCs, including an additional scenario for the New Japan Pro-Wrestling "Story Mode!　This is a better deal than purchasing the DLC Season Pass separately later, so be sure to check it out as well.

In addition, DLC that adds collaborative content with New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be available for a fee for the Steam version of the game, which is currently on sale!　The release date and price have yet to be determined, but it will be available soon after the PS4 version goes on sale, so stay tuned for more information.
