Asasao and Kase-san. New scene cuts depict a somber Yamada and Kase staring ahead in the rain!

The new OVA "Asagao and Kase-san," which will be released in theaters for a limited time starting June 9, 2018 (Saturday) which will be released in theaters for a limited period of time starting Saturday, June 9, 2018.

The new OVA "Asasao and Kase-san. is the first work in the "Kase-san" manga series by Hiromi Takashima. series by Hiromi Takashima. This popular work depicts how Yamada, a shy second-year high school student on the greening committee, and Kase-san, the track team ace and idol of the school, gradually grow closer through the morning glory planted by Yamada.

An animation clip using singer-songwriter Hanako Oku's "Kimi no Egao (album ver.)" has been available since May 2017, and a new OVA will be released theatrically in December 2017; it will open in 17 theaters nationwide on Saturday, June 9, 2018, for a limited time, after which The OVA is scheduled to be released.
