Hisako Kanemoto announces she is taking a leave of absence to study abroad! She plans to return in March 2019 [Ikinari! Seiyu Bulletin]

Voice actress Hisako Kanemoto will take a leave of absence this summer to study abroad.

Hisako Kanemoto is the voice actress of "Invasion! Ika Musume", "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens", "Girls und Panzer", and many other popular characters. She has taken over the role of Erina Nagikiri in "Shokugeki no Soma: Sansan-no-sara" from Risa Taneda, who has been recovering from an illness.

The announcement was made on May 26 on the official website of her agency, Purodakuson Baobab, and on Kanemoto's official blog, with her return scheduled for March 2019.

In her blog, Kanemoto confessed that she decided to study abroad in order to broaden her horizons. She also expressed her desire to take on challenges so that she can grow as a person.

It will be sad not to hear Kanemoto's performance for a while, but we can't wait to hear her voice as she grows even more. Let's look forward to her return!
