Special limited edition "PlayStation 4 Days of Play Limited Edition" with △○×□ motif will be released on June 8!

Tokyo, June 8, 2012 - Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), a division of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. responsible for business operations in Japan, today announced that it will release a specially designed PS4 "PlayStation®4 Days of Play Limited Edition" in limited quantities starting Friday, June 8, 2012.

The "PlayStation®4 Days of Play Limited Edition" is a special limited edition model that will be released in conjunction with the "Days of Play" global campaign, in which various PlayStation® products and services can be enjoyed at promotional prices. The color of the console will be the same as that of the PlayStation®4 Days of Play Limited Edition.

The color of the main unit is blue, a color that is well-known as the symbolic color of PlayStation, and the top surface is decorated with a gold △○×□□ motif, creating a vivid contrast between the blue and gold colors. The included DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller also comes in the same blue color as the console, and the touchpad is decorated with a gold △○×□□ motif.
