The movie version of "Haikara-san ga Tsuku Part 2: Hana no Tokyo Dai Roman" and a key visual depicting Benio in a dress are unveiled! The theme song is sung by Saori Hayami.

A key visual from the animated film "Haikara-san risetsu Part 2: Hana no Tokyo Dai roman" has been unveiled.

The manga "Haikara-san risetsu" was serialized by Kazuki Yamato in "Shukan Shoujo Friend" (Kodansha) from 1975 to 1977, and depicts the turbulent adolescence of the main character, Benio Hanamura, set in the Taisho Era (1912-1926). In 2016, it was announced that the story would be adapted into an animated theater version, which would consist of two parts: the first part and the second part. The second part, "Part Two: Hana no Tokyo Dai Roman" will finally be released on October 19 this year.

The second part will depict the last part of the original story, which has never been animated before. The production staff will be directed by animation director Seimei Kidokoro, who worked as assistant director on "Hanabatake, kara mita kara mita," and the character design will be done by Terumi Nishii, as in the first part. The film also stars Saori Hayami as the heroine Benio, Mamoru Miyano as the Ensign, Takahiro Sakurai as Fuyusei Aoe, and other splendid voice actors.
⇒Animation Film Screening Schedule

The key visual released this time depicts Benio in a wedding dress, reminiscent of the last part of the story. Also, Saori Hayami, who plays the role of the main character, Benio Hanamura, will sing the theme song for the film, which will be released on September 19, 2018! The song will be released on September 19, 2018 as Ms. Hayami's 5th single "Shinarai Asatte (New Morning)," with lyrics and music by Mariya Takeuchi, just like the theme song of the first part, "Yume no Hatto To" (To the End of the Dream).

<Synopsis
It was a time when women were not yet free to choose between love and work. While attending a girl's school, Benio Hanamura meets Ensign Shinobu Ijuin, a married woman who has been married since her grandparents' time. At first, Benio is repulsed by the Ensign, but the two eventually transcend their marriage and are drawn to each other from the bottom of their hearts. However, the Ensign is missing in action.
She is unable to give up hope that he is still alive somewhere, when a man who looks exactly like him appears before her eyes. He is Sasha Mikhailov, an exiled aristocrat from Russia. However, Sasha, who looks just like the Ensign, does not seem to know Benio at all. The person who cheered up the shocked Benio was Fuyusei Aoe, the editor-in-chief of the publishing house where she works.
Sasha looks just like her beloved but does not know who she is. Between the two, Benio's heart is violently shaken.
In the midst of all this, shocking facts are revealed one after another, and she is finally involved in a major historical event... The short but turbulent Taisho Era (1912-1926). In the midst of the turbulent Taisho Era, "Hai Karasan" sometimes laughed, sometimes cried, and sometimes ran straight through with dedication.
What will she choose in the end, and with whom will she be united?
