The popular romantic comedy "Kaguya-sama ga Sesshirasai ~Tensai-tachi no Love Brain Battle~" serialized in Weekly Young Jump will be adapted into a TV anime!

It has been announced that Akasa Akasaka's "Kaguya-sama ga Sesshirasai ~Tensai-tachi no Koi Toushi no Arui Keisatsu Sen", currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump", will be adapted into a TV animation series.

Akasa Akasaka's "Kaguya-sama ga Keshirakasai ~Tensai-tachi no Koi Ni Mukasenzai~" (published in Shueisha's "Weekly Young Jump") has sold over 2.4 million copies (including digital editions). It is a new type of "brain battle" romantic comedy about Kaguya Shigumiya, the vice president, and Gyoko Shiragin, the president, who meet at the student council of Shuchiin Academy, a school for gifted students with good family backgrounds and personalities and high expectations for the future, and who are too proud to be honest.

The TV anime adaptation of this work, which boasts immense popularity on par with the action epics of Shueisha's "Weekly Young Jump" such as "Kingdom," "Tokyo Ghoul: re," and "Golden Kamui," was announced this time.
In conjunction with the announcement, the official website and Twitter page were opened, and a teaser visual depicting Kaguya Shinomiya, one of the main characters of the work, is now on view on the top page.

The series will reach its 100th issue in the 27th issue of "Weekly Young Jump" on sale on June 7 (Thu.), and with the 10th volume of the original comics on sale on June 19 (Tue.), the total number of copies sold (including digital editions) will exceed 2.4 million. The "Weekly Young Jump" No. 27, with its cover and front cover color, carries a comment from the original author, Akasa Akasaka, on the TV anime adaptation.
