SUBARU of the Seven Stars" is a TV anime based on Noritake Tao's popular light novel (character design by Buta, published by Shogakukan's "GAGA Bunko").

In the MMORPG "Union," which once enjoyed worldwide popularity, a party of elementary school students named "SUBARU" became legendary. However, when the game is over, the member of "Subaru," Princess Asahi, dies in real life as well. ≪The "Union" was shut down and the members of "SUBARU" were scattered. Six years later... Six years later, former "SUBARU" member Yohsho logs into the new "Reunion" and is reunited with his childhood friend Asahi Hime, who was supposed to have died there. Is she an electronic ghost, or...?　The director of the TV anime version is the same director who directed "Seriously Otaku English! Ribon-chan the TV" and "Kakushi Sensei Q"; series composition by Takao Yoshioka of "Konohana Kitan" and "April is Your Lie"; character design and chief animation director by Yumiko Yamamoto of "Konohana Kitan" and "Danganronpa 3 The End of Hope Gakuen Zetsubou Hen". Animation production will be handled by Lerche, the animation studio that produced "Hakumei to Mikochi" and "Kino's Journey - the Beautiful World - the Animated Series".
