Leading voice actors all dropped out of "The Second Life in a Different World" broadcast and production was canceled.
On June 6, it was announced on the anime's official website that the broadcast and production of the TV anime "Nidaime Seikatsu wo Isekai de" (Second Chance in a Different World), which was scheduled to begin in October, had been canceled.
On June 5, Mayin apologized on her Twitter account, but on June 6, the four lead voice actors scheduled to appear in the anime announced that they would all be leaving the show (the reason for this was not made clear). Then, on the evening of the 6th, it was announced that the anime adaptation would be canceled.
On the official website of the anime, the following statement was made: "We take the series of events that have occurred since the announcement of the anime adaptation very seriously, and we would like to announce that the broadcast and production of this anime have been cancelled. We sincerely apologize to everyone involved in the production of this work for any inconvenience or concern this may have caused.
The publisher of the original work has announced, "We will take careful measures in handling the book.
