Isekai Izakaya: Izakaya Nobu in the Ancient Capital of Aethelia" (hereafter "Nobu") is a work based on the recently popular theme of otherworldly things and food. The owner of "Izakaya Nobu" is located on a desolate street in Kyoto, but somehow the front entrance of the restaurant is connected to the medieval European-style otherworldly city of Aethelia, the ancient capital of Japan. Nobuyuki Yazawa, the proprietor, and Shinobu Senke, a waiter, run the restaurant for the residents of this other world.

People from all walks of life, including guards, craftsmen, merchants, and aristocrats, come to "Nobu" to relieve their fatigue of the day with good sake and snacks....... The story depicts a scene similar to that of Japanese businessmen drinking at an izakaya.


Episode 8 begins with Eifa-chan, Taisho, and Shinobu-chan, who became new employees at Nobu from episode 7, which was distributed last week, looking bored with something.
It was a cold night and no customers came, so they decided to close the restaurant ...... and as Shinobu-chan was about to take down the curtain, she saw a person lying in front of the restaurant ......, but it was Nikolaus, a regular customer, who had collapsed. When she enters the store and settles down, Nikolaus starts to tell her why he was lying in front of the store.

Nikolaus was on his way home from training and was being teased by some thugs from the Buckshof Trading Company. He helped the person in trouble, but there were several opponents and he was not that strong .......
The next day, when Buckeshof's commander, Berthold, found out that he had fought in the street, he said, "Some of these men got in our face yesterday. How dare the civilians take advantage of a guard! He is chastised. Nicolaus wondered if he was being insulted, but he replied, "Sometimes you are outnumbered.Whatshould we do then?You are always outnumbered on the battlefield! What if I can't fight five or ten men? What do you mean you can't handle five or ten? We are all responsible for this! We will now have detention training," and everyone is about to undergo rigorous training. However, Nikolaus declares that it is his fault, and everyone gets to train. Eefa also expresses her pity for the people she has helped, but Nikolaus begins to tell her about the training , saying, "I had a way to get through the tough training.

The second half of the live-action part, "Nobu + PLUS," is the fourth installment of "Kenichi Nagira's Search for Nobu Izakaya," in which singer-songwriter and TV personality Kenichi Nagira searches for exquisite dishes that have appeared in "Nobu." This time, when Nagira mentions the "Pork miso soup" restaurant introduced in the main episode, his face turns cloudy and he says, "There is no pork miso soup ...... specialty restaurant ......, is there? The restaurant we came to was Tonkatsu Masamune in Tameike-Sanno. Looking at "Nobu+PLUS" made me want to eat tonkatsu, but I would like to have a glass of sparkling wine "Project Quattro Cava" tonight while checking if there is any restaurant where "pork miso soup" is served in place of miso soup.
