Kensho Ono & Mikako Komatsu appeared on the "Zoids Wild" stage, where the latest work in the series after a 12-year absence has begun! They appealed to WBA champion Murata! Tokyo Toy Show 2018

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, a stage for the TV anime "Zoids Wild," which will begin airing in July, was held at the TakaraTomy Stage in the Tokyo Toy Show 2018, which was held at Tokyo Big Sight from Thursday, June 7 to Sunday, June 10 (public days are June 9 and 10).

Zoids Wild" is the latest in the "Zoids" toy series that Takara Tomy has been developing since 1983, and the first in 12 years. The "ZOIDS" toy series is based on the motif of dinosaurs and animals, and features electric motors and springs that make them move as if they were real life forms. Zoids" was broadcast in 1999, followed by "Zoids New Century Slash Zero" in 2001, "Zoids Fuzers" in 2004, and "Zoids Genesis" in 2005.

On the stage at this year's event, a presentation was given in two parts on "Zoids Wild," the first new entry in the "Zoids" series in 12 years.

In the first part, Zoids comedians "Shinagawa Shoji (Shinagawa Yu, Shoji Tomoharu)" & "Hannya (Kawashima Akiyoshi, Kaneda Satoshi)" gave a presentation about the toys, while Zoids amateurs "FUJIWARA (Haranishi)" & "Zoids fans" gave a presentation about the toys. In the second part, Kensho Ono, who plays Arashi, and Mikako Komatsu, who plays Penne, from the TV anime "Zoids Wild," made an appearance and gave a presentation to Ryota Murata, a professional boxer.

In the first part of the first half of the stage, Zoids comedians Hannya and Shinagawa Shoji made a presentation about the toy Zoids series to FUJIWARA, a Zoids amateur who served as MC.

Mr. Shinagawa, Mr. Shoji, and Mr. Kaneda each appealed their own points of recommendation, and Mr. Kawashima, who is the most knowledgeable of the four and is particularly fond of Zoids, took part in the position of adding commentary to each introduction.

First, Mr. Shinagawa said, "The design is amazing! followed by Mr. Shoji's "The assembly is amazing! and from Mr. Kaneda, "The way it starts moving is amazing! and "It's great that it moves!" from Mr. Kaneda, each of them appealing to the audience.

As the two members of FUJIWARA gradually showed their interest, they actually moved the Zoids and demonstrated a special move called "Wild Blast". The tension of the two FUJIWARA members rose as they performed the "Instinctive Release" in the midst of the action.

Behind the scenes, however, Mr. Shinagawa was checking the gimmicks of the Zoids in his hands.

After the laughter-filled first part, WBA world middleweight champion Murata-san, Ono-san, and Komatsu-san, who appear in the TV anime "Zoids Wild," took the stage to introduce the PV of the anime, which will start airing on July 7 (Saturday) on 28 MBS/TBS stations and others. The first PV was shown for the first time in Japan.

After the PV was shown for the first time in Japan, the "bond between humans and Zoids" was mentioned as one of the charms of this work, to which Mr. Murata replied, "We are going to live in an age of coexistence with AI," and even though the presentation had just started, he had already begun to grasp the appeal of this work.

When asked about the image of "wild" in the title, which is derived from "Wild Blast," a technique used by the Zoids to evolve and demonstrate their abilities, Komatsu-san answered that a certain comedian comes to mind, "a person wearing sleeveless clothes and showing his biceps," which made the audience laugh, while Ono-san said, "A dynamic person who does not seem to mind the small details. Ono said, "He seems to be bold and doesn't care about details. Murata, who has a wild image as a boxer, said, "He is instinctive, for better or worse, not calculating, and lives by intuition rather than roughness.

Mr. Murata, who had the chance to try his hand at assembling the machine backstage, commented that it was "surprisingly easy to make," and that its surprisingly easy assembly "would make children play with it even while they sleep. While he conveyed the aspect that even children can enjoy, he also said that he himself would be more absorbed in it, and appealed that it is a toy that adults can enjoy as well. The stage was a perfect opportunity to convey the appeal of this work.
