From Software releases METAL WOLF CHAOS XD in 2018! Updated version of the Xbox-exclusive ACT

FromSoftware announced that "METAL WOLF CHAOS XD" for PS4/Xbox One/PC will be released in 2018.

METAL WOLF CHAOS XD is an updated version of the Xbox-exclusive action game METAL WOLF CHAOS, released in December 2004, for the current generation of consoles. The port was developed by General Arcade and retains the game concept of "the catharsis of destruction and the exhilaration of conquering an overwhelming number of enemy forces with a variety of firearms" that characterized the original version, while optimizing the visuals and improving the playability.

The debut trailer and update overview have now been released.

METAL WOLF CHAOS XD" retains the game concept of the original version, but adds several updates for the current generation consoles.

Visual updates
The visuals have been optimized for current-generation game consoles. Some textures and visual effects have been improved, and the game is now in full HD (1080p) and 16:9 widescreen/4K compatible*, allowing players to enjoy the exhilaration and catharsis of destruction as they conquer an overwhelming number of enemy forces with a variety of firearms.

■Improved playability
While maintaining the difficulty and responsiveness of the original version, some of the game systems of the time, such as operability, will be improved and adjusted to make the game even easier to play.

PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PCs with 4K output support can be connected to 4K TVs and monitors to enjoy the game in higher resolution. The PC will display 4K natively.
