Kazutaka Miyatake, designer of "Saint Dunbine" and "Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN" talk show "Miyatake Kai: Talking about Natural History and Science Fiction" to be held

Designer Kazutaka Miyatake, who has been enthusiastically supported by anime fans for works such as "Psalms of Planets Eureka seveN" and the "Macross" series, will hold a solo talk show at Tokyo Culture Culture in Shibuya on June 17, 2018.


Kazutaka Miyatake is a mechanical designer, illustrator, and concept designer at Studio Nue. Along with Kunio Okawara, he is a pioneer in the field of mechanical design in Japan.

His "perspective illustrations" were used in the ending of the TV anime "Mazinger Z." Since then, he has participated in numerous robot anime, science fiction anime, and video game productions.

Aim for the Top! Doraemon: Nobita's Space Drift" and "Mai-HiME," as well as concept design for "Saint Dunbine," "Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven," and "Knights & Magic.


In this talk show, Mr. Miyatake will talk about biology, nature, science fiction, mechatronics, and other weird and wonderful topics.

He will also show unpublished images of the settings for the first time only at the event! There will also be a Q&A corner and a gift drawing. There will also be a Q&A session and a raffle with gifts, as well as limited-edition illustrated paper to be sold at the event.
