Teruhiko Aoi, who plays Takeshi Yabuki in Ashita no Joe, joins the new "Megalobox" Blu-ray BOX commercial!

Teruhiko Aoi, who played Takeshi Yabuki in "Ashita no Joe," will appear in the new Blu-ray box commercial for the TV anime "Megalobox," which will start airing on TBS and other networks.

Megalobox" is an original anime based on "Ashita no Joe," which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018.The story is about a boxer who fights against his destiny in the ring, putting everything he has into the fight. The main staff consists of Hiroshi Moriyama as director and concept designer (visual concept for the TV animation "Shinkage no Kyojin"), Katsuhiko Manabe (screenplay for the movie "Solomon's Perjury: The Case/Second Part/Trial") and Kensaku Kojima (co-writer for the movie "Setsu Midnight Diner") as series director and screenwriter, and music by the internationally renowned The music will be composed by mabanua, an artist active in Japan and abroad.
