Completely new anime "POPTEPIC MEMORIAL" is released from the JRA x POPTEPIC web content "POPTEPIC MEMORIAL"!

A completely new original web animation from "POPTEPIC MEMORIAL," a special site collaborating with JRA (Japan Racing Association) and the anime "POPTEPIC," was released today, March 14.

POPTEPIC" is a four-frame manga written by Bukubu Okawa that has been distributed since November 2014 on Take Shobo's four-frame web comic distribution site "Manga Life WIN". The surreal and chaotic days of the little rambunctious Popuko (the short one) and the long-faced, calm and collected Pipimi (the long one), bursting with black humor, became a topic of conversation mainly on the Internet, and the number of views on Nico Nico Douga reached 1 million, the fastest in the history of anime. The TV anime was originally scheduled to air in October 2017, but due to a misunderstanding by the production company, the broadcast was hastily postponed for three months.

The completely new original web anime "POPTEPI MEMORIAL" to be distributed this time was produced to commemorate the one millionth viewer of the web content "POPTEPI Audience Maker" which is available on the special website "POPTEPI MEMORIAL" ( # ). The animation consists of three parts: "Prediction Arc," in which Pipimi, dressed as a horse racing forecaster, believes in Pipi's prediction and sets out to win a big race; "Paddock Arc," in which unique and unique POPTEPIC horses appear; and "Race Arc," in which jockey Pipiko and thoroughbred Pipimi run in a race.

As with the TV anime, the production will consist of two parts, A and B. The voice cast includes Mikako Komatsu, Sumire Uesaka, Ryusei Nakao, and Norio Wakamoto, all of whom appeared in the TV anime, and the production team is the same as in the TV anime, with director Jun Aoki of Space Neko Company, supervisor Bukubu Okawa, and producer Kotaro Sudo of King Records. The "KARAKU" is a completely new animation. We hope you will watch "POPTEPI MEMORIAL," which is a completely new anime.
