Capcom's latest title in the popular "Monster Hunter" hunting action series, "Monster Hunter: World," has arrived with information on this week's notable events.

The "Monster Hunter" series is a hunting action game in which players face off against giant monsters in a magnificent natural setting. In "Monster Hunter: World," the latest title in the series and the first for a console in nine years, players become hunters who set foot on a "new continent" as part of a survey team and explore an unknown continent.

This latest title marks a major change from previous titles in the series, allowing players to move seamlessly between areas and perform various actions, display damage figures to monsters, and participate in quests along the way. It has become a record-breaking blockbuster title, with worldwide shipments exceeding 8 million units (as of April 16, 2018).

*Event Quests and Challenge Quests can only be played during the implementation period. The contents may be changed or the implementation may be cancelled without prior notice.

*Event Quests are added to "Events" that can be selected by selecting a quest category from the quest board or receptionist during the playable period.
*Challenge Quests can be received/participated from the "Fighting Tournament Counter" in the meeting area of the research base. You cannot participate from other quest counters/quest boards. You will be able to go to the meeting area as the story progresses.
*There may be requirements such as Hunter Rank (HR) when receiving/participating in quests. Hunter rank is like a level of trust in a hunter's experience and ability. As ranks increase, more difficult quests can be ordered. Hunter rank is raised by completing "mission" quests. After your rank has been raised to a certain level, you will be able to increase your rank by accumulating points earned from completing quests.
