Card Captor Sakura" is a popular comic series published in "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha) from 1996 to 2000 by CLAMP, a hit maker of "Magic Knight Rayearth" and "XXXHOLiC", etc. When the TV anime was broadcast on NHK in 1998, its popularity further accelerated.
