Yokoi Sadamasa Corporation, which designs, manufactures, and sells masks under the brand name Nihon Mask®, will release "VR GOGGLID," a disposable cover for VR head-mounted displays that allows users to enjoy VR more comfortably and hygienically, on June 20 (Wednesday).

VR GOGGLID" is a cover for VRHMD jointly developed with Nomadic TOKYO & Co.

It is designed to be attached directly to the main unit's "GOGGLE" like a "lid" so that users can enjoy video contents more comfortably and hygienically without having to worry about removing their glasses, piercings, earrings, etc. (patent pending). The company claims that the VRHMD can be used hygienically by protecting it from sebum, sweat, makeup, etc., not only at home, but also at VR-related amusement facilities and events where an unspecified number of customers use the device.
