PS4 "Wanda and the Colossus" starts free distribution of "Omoide Theme" today, June 15! PS Store is also offering a 20% off sale!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has started distributing for free the theme "Wanda and the Colossus Omoide Theme," which was created through the original project "Let's make it together," in which users create original themes together using the "Photo Mode" included in the PS4 game "Wanda and the Colossus! Omoide Theme of "Wanda and the Colossus"", a theme completed through the original project "Let's make it together!

Let's make it together! Omoide Theme of "Wanda and the Colossus"" was a campaign held from March 16, 2018 (Friday) to March 31, 2018 (Saturday) to create an original "Theme of Wanda and the Colossus" with screenshots (photos) of "Wanda and the Colossus" taken by users.

The "Wanda and the Colossus Omoide Theme", an original theme for PS4 using 12 works selected from among many entries, is now available for free on PlayStation Store starting today, June 15 (Fri.).

In addition, the downloadable and digital deluxe versions of "Wanda and the Colossus" for PS4 are currently on sale for 20% off (25% off for PS Plus members), so if you have not played the game yet, why not take advantage of this opportunity?

What is "Wanda and the Colossus"?
Wanda and the Colossus" is an action-adventure game about a young man, Wanda, who must face 16 colossal statues in order to recover the soul of a lost girl. Since its release on PlayStation 2 in 2005, "Wanda and the Colossus" has been one of the most popular titles in PlayStation history, with its beautiful landscape of vast open fields, innovative gameplay in which players cling to and climb up powerful statues, and a story that is as sad and horrific as the battles they fight.


After an HD remastered version on PlayStation 3 in 2011, "Wanda and the Colossus" was brought back to PlayStation 4 in a full remake on February 8, 2018. The wind flowing through the meadows, the sunlight filtering through the trees, and the overwhelming and mysterious Colossus. Everything you see has been made as powerful and beautiful as if it were alive there.

■Story
In this world, it is said that the souls of the dead can be retrieved if they so desire.
The young man's name is Wanda.
In order to save a girl who has lost her soul, he heads for the forbidden land of the "Ancient Land," a place so vast that it is almost impossible to see the end of the world.
When she arrives at the "ancient land" and gently lays the girl's corpse on the altar, she hears a mysterious voice from the heavens.


The voice tells her that if she can destroy all 16 idols standing in a row at the "Shrine of the Ancient Ones," her wish will be fulfilled.
Wanda decides to seek out and defeat the 16 colossal statues in order to destroy them.
Who is the owner of the voice from heaven? What is an idol and what is a colossus?
Even if her actions bring terrible consequences to herself, Wanda runs across the vast land to recover the girl's soul. She is the only one who can take on 16 gigantic enemies.
