'LOST SONG' Episodes 8-9: If you've seen this far, you're a winner! The shocking truth has been told for the second half of the season!

The unexpected turn of events had everyone wondering, "What the hell is going to happen now? Episode 8 is the follow-up to Episode 7, and this time, an even more surprising turn of events awaits us!

Episode 8 Song of the Long Ago

The episode starts off with a sci-fi scene of a near-future city. There, Henry, dressed in a suit, is explaining about the planet Etherioid, where they live.

Oh, what is that? Is this a different animation? I am sure I am not the only one who was puzzled for a moment. However, what is told there is an ancient event called ......, when a group of meteorites once poured down to the earth. In other words, this world is the world after the collapse of Finis' song of doom.

How much time has passed for humanity, once destroyed, to come back to life? ......

This time, it is a story of wandering through such a long time that makes you feel faint.

The story starts with the ED theme of black-and-white images. Does this mean that the story so far has come to an end?

The song of final destruction, in which everything is destroyed in exchange for losing one's life. Feenis, who has sung such a song, is the only one who survives. He is the only one who can't die no matter what. In other words, losing death means that she will no longer be able to fulfill her natural life as a human being.

She is no longer able to age. She will live alone for an indescribable amount of time. She is persecuted everywhere she goes, sometimes subjected to violence, but still unable to die.

The times depicted in the film vary from a primitive life, to a medieval witch-hunting era, to a time when high school girls live with their smartphones poking around. However, for some reason or another, human history is reset many times, and each time people rewrite history from scratch.

The cycle repeats itself over thousands of years, or perhaps tens of thousands of years.

Even so, Feenis continues to live with the hope that one day the era in which she grew up will repeat itself, and she will be reunited with her beloved Henry.

But when she finally meets Henry again, he is a different man with a wife and children and a happy family. It is quite natural, but when she sees this fact, she is devastated by despair and realizes that neither the past nor the future exist for her.

This is where Finis gets amazing. She began to prepare to sing the "Song of the End" once again by having people tell the story of the chant festival and the ancient diva's legacy. That is, while going through the history of tens of thousands of years class once again, she made the song of the spirits that Feenis sang permeate among the people. In the process, the emblem of the Song of the Spirits, once held by Lynn and Pony, also appeared. It was also Feenis who created this.

A song is more powerful when it is combined with a performance and the voices of many people. ......

Feinis, who says so, plans to sing the song of the end of the world once again. The stage is set in the present day. He colludes with General Bazra, who is planning something using the Royal Army, and decides to carry out his plan.

The story behind the first episode, which has been told in fragments, is also revealed in this episode. First, Hawkley, an elder in the village of Dandera, Lynn's hometown, was once a famous general in the Royal Army. With war approaching, Hawkley, an old general, stepped down. Bazra succeeded him. Bazra had achieved great results in the war with the power of Finis's songs. Bazra had tried to kill Henry, who was a nuisance to him. Lynn had witnessed Henry's rescue with her healing songs. That Bazra burned down the village of Dandera. ......

Episode 8 is a collection of mysteries and foreshadowing that have been scattered throughout the story, and also offers many hints for what is to come next. I can't help but summarize my impressions, or rather, just what happened in a rambling way! I can't help but think that a lot of information was disclosed at such a rapid pace!

I am just overwhelmed. I was surprised to hear "Oh, really? and "What is going to happen now? and "What's going to happen now? And then I was impressed by the misreading of the drama that had been depicted up to now, "Oh my God! and admiration. It was a very satisfying episode 8 with such mixed emotions.

I'm glad I've watched this far! After seeing it this far, I have no choice but to stick with it until the end!

Finally, the OP theme was played at the end of the episode!

In other words, this episode is like an intermission between the first part, which has been drawn up to episode 7, and the second part, which will start from episode 9. I was impressed with the way they incorporated even the placement of the theme song into the production! It gave me goosebumps.

Episode 9: Song of Nostalgia

So, after the surprising episode 8, the story enters the second part.

Lin and his friends plan to rescue Feenis, who is being used by Bazra (or so they think).

Meanwhile, Feenis and Bazra reaffirm their contract with each other. Instead of using Feenis as a weapon of song, Bazra seems to promise that Feenis will sing with an orchestra at a chant festival when the satellite is closest to the planet. Bazra wants to use the power of song to take over the world, and Finis plans to use the power of song to end the world this time. They don't seem to truly trust each other. ......

Incidentally, at the beginning of episode 8, Henry said that in about 60,000 years, the satellite will be the closest to the planet ....... That would mean that at least that much time has passed since the ancient times when Feenis destroyed the world with his song of doom. Hmmm, how long have we lived?

But still, what I find interesting about "Lost Song" is that no matter how serious the situation is, it never forgets the comedic element. Pony, "If the majority of the soldiers have never seen Feenis before," he infiltrates the singing weapon by turning Monica into Feenis. They plan to rescue Feenis while the soldiers are on a rampage to confuse them, which is a crazy plan. I wondered how elaborate the plan was, but it was so haphazard and random! Many viewers were like, "Hey, hey, hey! Monica is getting into the swing of things and her tone of voice is strangely bossy.

The scene is normally a tense one, but the atmosphere is very relaxed. This is the charm of this film.

Meanwhile, Lynn discovers a sword that looks like it was once used by Henry. When she touches the sword, which has a black spirit clinging to it, she dives into the world of memories that Feenis has traced!

Lynn, who has relived half of Finnis' life, learns about Finnis for the first time. She also learns the shocking truth that she is the embodiment of the "Song of Healing," the hope for Henry that Feenis had given up!

It is because Lynn is the power of song itself that no matter how much she sang, it did not cost her life.

Now, the ponies are carrying out the mission to rescue Feenis. As it turns out, the operation is a success and they wreak havoc on the royal army with their weapons. And then, dashing in there are the modern-day Henrys. The mercenaries who fought alongside Henry in the ancient times are the ones who call him "O-head! Their faces are exactly the same (laughs).

Here, Henry says, "Feenis. I'm here to rescue you!" A word of advice. Feenis reacts to his words. After meeting Henry again after a long time, will Finis be able to escape from the depths of despair?

Incidentally, the ED image this time was of Finis singing in a collapsed red world. The scene with the close-up of the song is so powerful that you can't help but be thrilled by its indescribable power. Be sure not to miss the OP and ED as well as the main story!
