Kingdom Hearts III" SP movies are now available on the special site "Stories Leading to III"! The entire story is explained in 5 movies!

To commemorate the announcement that "KINGDOM HEARTS III" for PS4/Xbox One will be released on January 25, 2019 (Friday), Square Enix has released a special movie "Stories Leading to III," in which the epic story that has continued uninterrupted since the first "Kingdom Hearts" game is divided into five episodes. The movie "Stories Leading to III" and its special website were released to commemorate the release of the first "KINGDOM HEARTS" on January 25, 2012.

KINGDOM HEARTS III" is the latest in the "Kingdom Hearts" series, which takes place in the Disney world. With the addition of new worlds such as Pixar, the scale of this title has been increased to an even more spectacular worldview. In addition to exhilarating action, the series' best battles can be enjoyed with attraction-like effects and techniques that allow players to work in tandem with the Disney characters.

The newly released "Stories Leading to III" is a special movie specially edited into five episodes with themes that are typical of the "KINGDOM HEARTS" series, based on a large narrative axis that spans all previous titles to make the story of "KINGDOM HEARTS III" even easier to understand.

In the movie, you can enjoy the narration by voice actress Tomoko Kaneda, who plays the character "Chiricy," who also appears in the main game, as well as heartbreaking animations of famous scenes and characters from the "Kingdom Hearts" series that are depicted like "illustrations from a picture book. The special site also features a special animation of the characters from each series, which are depicted like "picture book illustrations.

The special site also includes explanations of the characters and keywords that appear in each movie, so be sure to check it out as well.

In addition, a special board linked to "Stories Leading to III" will appear at Shinjuku Station!　The details will be announced on June 25 (Mon.), so don't miss it either!

One day, a young boy named Sora receives a key-shaped sword called "Keyblade" and sets off on a journey with Donald and Goofy, under the orders of the King (Mickey), to bring back his best friends Riku and Kairi, who have been separated from each other. In order to save the world, they needed to unlock the key from both the world of light and the world of darkness, and their best friend Riku chose to stay in the world of darkness.

The "XIII Organization," an organization that is active in the world of darkness, has the "Keyblade" necessary to complete "Kingdom Hearts," which is said to be the heart of the world and a collection of human hearts. The "XIII Agency" organization has repeatedly stood in the way of Sora, who possesses the "Keyblade" necessary to complete "Kingdom Hearts," which is said to be a collection of the world's hearts and human minds.

When Sora and his friends learn that the previous battles over "Kingdom Hearts" were being fought at the behest of Master Zeranort, who is planning to start a Keyblade War, they try to assemble seven guardians of light to fight against the darkness.

The King and Riku begin to search for the whereabouts of the Keyblade wizards, and Sora, Donald, and Goofy are once again sent on a quest through the various Disney worlds to recover the "Awakening Power.
