Hizune and Masotan - Episode 10: The story is carefully built up and then turned upside down at the end! As expected of Mari Okada and her script! A scripted episode by Mari Okada!

The script for episode 10 was written by Mari Okada. This was the most unpredictable episode so far; it was the best pull in terms of waiting for the week... Moyamoya.

Every time I watch the opening of a show, I wonder when I'll stop being confused, and I was still confused in episode 10. Finally, it was Nao's turn, who had been by far the most decent of the D-Pai members, but until now she had been reserved and had little to do with the mazuri goings-on. But now his role finally comes around. In other words, episode 10 was Nao's turn.

As usual, Amakasu Hishine is torn between her feelings for Okonogi and her deep love for Masotan. She worries that she doesn't know if she is in love or not, or if she can't get on board because she is in love. Seeing Hishine and the others like that, Nao says that anastomosis (fungo) is, as she puts it, "like OTF jealousy. Apparently, we are not mistaken.

Afterwards, Nao asks Ikushima for advice. She seems to have been infatuated with Ikushima up until then, but she doesn't seem to be showing it anymore. Whether he senses it or not, Nao is seriously worried about Masotan and Hishine, and Ikushima decides to confront her. Incidentally, Ikushima said here that Nao could not get on Masotan because she is not a dependent person, but we can see that dependence on OTF is the quality to be a D-pie, and that is the reason why Nao could not get on.

I believe that the reason why Hishine is the hero is that he is troubled and can find different answers from others. In short, she is unconventional. On the other hand, Eru Hoshino reacts in an extremely honest manner, although this is not in contrast. Zaisei, who was known for his flirtatious ways, pretends to be serious about Eru, but then, thinking of Eru's dream, makes the choice to dump Eru as Iiboshi ordered. And just as Iiboshi had planned, Eru became increasingly dependent on OTF.

If one had a higher deviation from love, one might have given Eru an extra word of advice, "That may not be your intention," as he got drunk at his usual tavern, but that was D-pai, just watching Eru get drunk. Then, Sada appeared in the form of Grandmother Joa to the drunken Eru and Hishine who was accompanying her. She is a sharp-eyed woman who advises them not to betray OTF, which D-pai will never betray. But personally, having grown up watching Japanese anime where the righteous choice is to protect one's loved ones even if the world is destroyed, it was a somewhat ambiguous statement.

Part B began with a conversation between Okonogi and Natsume. In the avant-garde scene, it was revealed that it was Natsume who was chosen as a wedge girl by Okonogi. It is also revealed that she has been raised to be a wedge woman.

It seemed that Okonogi realized that he had some feelings for Hizune, who was finding her own unique answer, rather than accepting what was decided as a matter of course. Then, Hishine appeared to Okonogi, who was doing maintenance work, and unintentionally confessed her feelings to him in the midst of the chaos. He then says, "I'm feeling a bit... close to the end," and leaves on his own. I thought it was very Hishine-esque that she tried to come up with an answer after thinking on her own. The reason why I could agree that this was Hishine is because she has built up the character of Hishine Amakasu. I always think that the charm of Mari Okada's scripts lies in the fact that she portrays her not as a symbolic character, but as a real human being.

Finally, Eru is back. And to dissipate the heat, Nao boards Masotan as a D-pie. I think Ikushima's line, "My ambition is higher than anyone else's," saved Nao's life so far. What Ikushima said to Nao about how pilots can fly because of the support of the people around them is very important in life, and young people should take note of it and keep it in their hearts. I think this kind of message is one of the advantages of anime. By the way, even though Nao couldn't become a D-pipe, he touched Masotan as maintenance, he was always running, and we can't overlook the fact that he never neglected his efforts, which resulted in the successful heat release operation, ZO!

So, after building up the story so far, Hishine's last words, with a face that cleared of clouds, were - "I... quit D-Pai, the Self-Defense Forces!

I don't understand! Everyone ended the 10th episode shouting "I don't understand! It was so much fun.
