Switch "Valkyria 4" will be released on September 27! The first "Senjo no Valkyria" will also be available on the eShop on the same day!

Sega Games has set the release date for the Switch version of "Valkyria 4" for September 27 (Thursday). The company also announced that the Switch version of the first title in the series, "Valkyria for Nintendo Switch," will also be available on the Nintendo eShop from the same day.

Valkyria 4" features the "CANVAS" drawing system, which creates warm, hand-drawn watercolor-like graphics; the "BLiTZ" battle system, which allows players to enjoy realistic battles by incorporating action elements into a simulation RPG; and "Valkyria for Nintendo Switch", which allows players to play in the extreme conditions of war. The latest title in the "Valkyria" series depicts various human dramas woven together by the extreme conditions of war.

In this title, a new story with new characters depicts a human drama through war in a fictional Europe.

On the system side, "CANVAS" and "BLiTZ," the hallmarks of the "Valkyria" series, have evolved significantly. CANVAS," a hand-drawn watercolor illustration with moving graphics, pursues a more hand-drawn feel and creates a unique game world with deviated outlines, overflowing colors, and sound effects expressed in text. The battle system "BLiTZ," which combines strategy and action, adds new elements such as the "Grenadier," a new military unit that attacks by grenade with curved projectiles, and "Brave," which allows players to take only one last action when dying, rising up with an indomitable fighting spirit to enjoy even more realistic battles. The Switch version of the game will also be available for the Switch.

In addition to the official PV of "Valkyria 4" for the Switch, information on downloadable content and store-specific pre-order bonuses to further enjoy this title has also been released.

About downloadable contents (DLC)
DLC will be released on the Nintendo eShop on September 27 (Thu.) to allow players to enjoy this title even more. The additional story DLC "Joint Front with 7th Platoon" included in the "Valkyria 4 10th Anniversary Memorial Pack" for PlayStation®4 will be available for the Nintendo Switch version as a bonus with the purchase of the Season Pass.
