Theater Room VR, an application for PSVR, will begin beta testing on July 4 for its first Hollywood 3D movie!
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) will begin a beta test of the first Hollywood movie (3D video version) in its "Theater Room VR" video viewing application for PSVR on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
In conjunction with this, the company is currently accepting applications from PS Plus subscribers to participate in the beta test.
Theater Room VR" is an application for PSVR that allows users to enjoy movies, anime, and other visual content in a large-screen theater in a virtual reality space. The two titles for this beta test are "Spider-Man: Homecoming (dubbed version)" and "Resident Evil: The Final (dubbed version)".

Features of the "Theater Room VR" beta test
The "Theater Room VR" beta test version has the following features: ・Creating a large-screen theater in a virtual space provides a deeply immersive experience.
In addition to the light operation that takes advantage of the machine power of "PlayStation 4" (PS4), users can change the screen size and set the environment to their liking to view content.

This beta test will feature the action blockbuster "Spider-Man: Homecoming (dubbed version)," in which MARVEL's superheroes fly around on the big screen with 3D images, and "Resident Evil: The Last Airbender," based on the world's most popular video game series, which offers an immense sense of terror through 3D images. The world's most popular video game series, "Resident Evil: The Final (dubbed version)," which is based on the original series, will be available for download.

Go to "PlayStation Store" ("PS4" or PC), "Games" => "PS Plus" => "Specials" and obtain the "Theater Room VR" Beta Test Application Ticket. To complete your application, you must obtain a "Theater Room VR" Beta Test Application Ticket from "Games" => "PS Plus" => "Specials".

1,000 winners will be selected by strict lottery from among those who apply during the application period, and each winner will receive a 12-digit product code to download the "Theater Room VR" application. By using the product code during the period, the winners will be able to download the "Theater Room VR" application and watch the selected titles for free during the beta test viewing period for 48 hours from the start of the first playback.
