Bless This Wonderful World! is an anime work based on Natsume Ake's light novel of the same title (Sneaker Bunko), which has sold more than 6.5 million copies in total.
The fantasy comedy depicts a game-loving hikikikomori boy, Kazuma, who was supposed to be ...... and ended his life in a car accident, is reborn in a different world and tries to live a cozy life in an adventure. The second season aired in 2017.

In July 2017, the final episode of the work's online radio program, "New anime project, start! was announced in the last episode of the online radio program in July 2017, and now the film adaptation has been officially announced. The main cast will continue from the TV anime, with Jun Fukushima playing Kazuma, Amemiya Ten playing Aqua, Takahashi Riie playing Megumi, Ai Kayano playing Daknes, Yui Horie playing Wiz, and Toyosaki Aki playing Yun-Yun. The production staff includes Takaomi Kanazaki as director, Makoto Uezu as series composition, Koichi Kikuta as character design, and Masato Koda as music. Animation production will be handled by J.C. STAFF. More details will be announced in the future, so please look forward to more information.

A concert will be held next year to enjoy a variety of Konosuba songs orchestrated by the Tokyo New City Orchestra. In addition to the cast members of this work, including Jun Fukushima (Kazuma), Ten Amamiya (Aqua), Riyo Takahashi (Megumi), and Ai Chino (Daknes), Machico, who was in charge of the OP theme, and Masato Koda, the play accompaniment writer, will also appear at this concert. This performance will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space in two performances, day and night.

A Blu-ray BOX of the first season will also be released, containing 11 episodes, including 10 episodes from the TV series and one unaired anime episode included in the limited paperback edition. It is a permanent preservation edition that includes newly drawn illustrations and newly recorded audio commentary.
