Prologue.

After the war with the Omi Rengo, Kazuma Kiryu entrusts the future of the Tojokai to his former apprentice, Daigo Dojima, and moves to Okinawa with Haruka, a memento of Yumi Sawamura, the woman he loved the most.
He runs an orphanage called "Asagao," which is related to Shintaro Kazama, Kiryu's foster parent, and spends peaceful days with children from various backgrounds. However, the threat of a "land grab" looms over Asagao.
In order to protect their beloved children, Kiryu single-handedly confronts the Ryudo family, an Okinawan gangster organization that is pursuing a land grab.
The Ryudo family is forced to evict the family, but Kiryu's manly spirit leads him to back out of the land grab.
Just as a bond develops between Kiryu and the Ryudo family, Nagahara, the leader of the Ryudo family, is shot.
At the same time, in Tokyo, Daigo Dojima, the young chairman of the Tojokai, is attacked by someone.
