'Midnight! Tensai Bakabon" unveils a radical new PV with dangerous words! A special program will also be broadcast!

A new PV has been released from the TV anime "Late Night: Tensai Bakabon" which will be broadcast from July 10 (Tue.) on TV Tokyo and other stations! Tensai Bakabon", which will be broadcast from July 10 (Tue.) on TV Tokyo and elsewhere.

Tensai Bakabon" is a home comedy centering on the Bakabon family, one of Fujio Akatsuka's representative works, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka's death, and the fifth TV anime adaptation has been decided after 18 years since the last one. It will be adapted as "Late Night! Tensai Bakabon" and will be broadcast from July 2018.
The film will be directed and written by the writer-director of the film "Paikaji Nankai Sakusen" (2012) and the writer-director of the film "Oke-Meijin! (2016) and the series composition of the TV anime "Shirokuma Cafe". The deputy director is Tenshi Yamamoto, who has storyboarded and directed "Frame Arms Girl" and "Tsurezure Children. Production will be handled by studio Piero+.

The new PV released shows adult characters Papa (CV: Arata Furuta), Honkan (CV: Tomoyuki Morikawa), Uncle Lele (CV: Akira Ishida), and Unagiinu (CV: Takahiro Sakurai) introducing the first episode, which starts out with a lot of dangerous words. At the end of the video, Papa makes a meaningful oath, saying, "The cast and staff will do our best not to get arrested until the episode airs," which foreshadows the extreme nature of the episode. It is also noteworthy that the video includes a new cut from the film, which is being unveiled for the first time.

A special program featuring the cast will be broadcast on July 3 (Tue.), just before the broadcast. The program will feature appearances by Arata Furuta, who plays the father, Noriko Hidaka, who plays the mother, Tomoyuki Morikawa, who plays the Honcho, and Toru Hosokawa, who directs and writes the script for this production. In addition to special talks that can only be heard on the special program, the ED theme "Kaze wa Bukiitaeru" written by Ketsumeshi will be unveiled for the first time. The special program will be available on the special page of the official website and on "Anitere" from July 3 (Tue.) at 18:00 for a limited period of one week, so be sure not to miss it.

In addition, the newly-drawn jacket of the TV anime's OP theme "BAKA-BONSOIR!" (to be released on August 24), sung by the special unit "B.P.O -Bakabon-no Papa Organization-" consisting of all cast members, has also been revealed. The visual cutely depicts the main characters recording the song.
