A new reading piece by Kubo Taito of "BLEACH" will be published in the 33rd issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump," which will go on sale on July 14 (Sat) as the "50th Anniversary Issue" full of commemorative projects.
Kubo Taito began serializing "BLEACH" in the 36th and 37th issues of "Weekly Shonen Jump" (released on August 7, 2001), and the series ended with episode 686, which was published in the 38th issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" on August 22 (Monday), 2016. The total number of copies sold worldwide from comics volume 1 to 74 is more than 120 million. from April 2004 to March 2012, the TV anime "BLEACH" was broadcast on the TV Tokyo network. The movie "BLEACH," starring Sota Fukushi, is scheduled to be released on July 20, 2018.
Weekly Shonen Jump" was first published in July 1968 as "Shonen Jump" and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in July 2018. 33rd issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" to be released on July 14 (Sat.) is titled "50th Anniversary Issue" and will be full of commemorative events and various gorgeous plans. As one of the projects appropriate for the "50th Anniversary Issue," it has been announced that a long-awaited new reading by Kubo Taito, the author of the very popular "BLEACH," which has sold over 120 million copies worldwide, will be published in the issue.
The title of this huge work, which will be over 60 pages, is "BURN THE WITCH," which is unprecedented for a reading piece.
The key words of the work are "witch," "dragon," and "Reverse London. It is over 60 pages, an unprecedented number of pages for a "read-through," and is as large as the first episode of a new serial.
The first cut of the "BURN THE WITCH" announcement and newly drawn comments have been unveiled. In the newly drawn commentary, it is also revealed that this work is a "romantic comedy.
