The TV anime "Late Night. Tensai Bakabon," which will begin airing on July 10, 2011! Tensai Bakabon," a special program featuring the cast of "Late Night! Tensai Bakabon" is a home comedy centering on the Bakabon family, one of Fujio Akatsuka's representative works, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2017. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka's death, and the fifth TV anime adaptation has been decided after 18 years since the previous one. It will be adapted as "Late Night! Tensai Bakabon" and will be broadcast from July 2018.
The film will be directed and written by the writer/director of the film "Paikaji Nankai Sakusen" (2012) and the writer/director of the film "Oke-Meijin! (2016) and the series composition of the TV anime "Shirokuma Cafe". The deputy director is Tenshi Yamamoto, who has storyboarded and directed "Frame Arms Girl" and "Tsurezure Children. Production will be handled by studio Piero+.

The special program that was released this time features Arata Furuta as Papa, Noriko Hidaka as Mama, Tomoyuki Morikawa as Honkaku, and Toru Hosokawa, who directs and writes the script for the film, talking about the appeal of the TV anime, secret production stories, and secret episodes among the cast while drinking at an actual izakaya (Japanese-style pub). The talk will be on the edge of the seat with the help of alcohol.

The "Honkun's Interrogation Room," an unusual program in which the Honkun interrogates the cast, and the "Late Night: Tensai Bakabon," in which a stuffed Eel Inu is shown in the Fujiopro and recording studio! Tensai Bakabon" and "Unagi Inu no Nurunuru Tankenuki (Unagi Inu's Nurunuru Exploration *Yasase)," a special movie in which a stuffed character Unagi Inu visits places associated with "Tensai Bakabon," will be distributed on the official website every other week starting July 6 (Fri.).

At the end of the program, the ending theme song "Kaze wa Bukiiteiru" sung by Ketsumeishi was unveiled for the first time. In addition, it was decided to hold an illustration submission project to be used in the ending movie of the TV anime.
