TOWER RECORDS Shibuya Store to hold "Splatoon Exhibition at TOWER RECORDS" from July 13th, looking back on the history of Splatoon! Limited goods will also be on sale.

Tower Records will hold the "Splatoon Exhibition at TOWER RECORDS," an exhibition event in collaboration with Nintendo, at "SpaceHACHIKAI" on the 8th floor of the Tower Records Shibuya Store from July 13 (Fri.).

The "Splatoon Exhibition at TOWER RECORDS" will feature a newly drawn main visual, an oversized timeline of Splatoon's history, a prototype of the "amiibo™" figure that connects to the game, a "Splatoon 2" figure that appears in "Splatoon 2," and a "Splatoon 2" figure that appears in "Splatoon 2. In addition to the main visual, there will be an oversized timeline looking back on the history of Splatoon, a prototype amiibo™ figure that connects to the game, a panel exhibition full of behind-the-scenes stories about the "blades" and "gear" that appear in Splatoon 2, and a photo spot that recreates the world of the game.

Of particular note is a 15-meter-wide oversized timeline titled "Ika-Su History Exhibition Tacle," which covers the history of Splatoon from the initial conception of Splatoon, to Splatoon released on the Wii U™ in 2015, Splatoon 2 released on the Nintendo Switch™ in 2017, and Splatoon 3 released on the Wii U™ in 2017. The exhibition will also feature concept art by Nintendo's development staff as well as original artwork of setting materials.

To commemorate the exhibition, Tower Records will also be selling the collaboration goods that were so popular during their summer sales in 2016 and 2017!　A total of more than 30 types of new goods will be available at 16 Tower Records stores, including the Shibuya store, and Tower Records Online (some goods will be sold exclusively at the Shibuya store and online).

Nintendo Switch™ "Splatoon 2" will celebrate its first anniversary on July 21 this year. Why not take this opportunity to visit "SpaceHACHIKAI" on the 8th floor of Tower Records Shibuya Store?
