Live-action movie "Gintama 2: Code is for Breaking", theme song artist is decided to be back number! The title is "Dai Unsho"!

Back number has been announced as the artist to sing the theme song for "Gintama 2: Code to Break", the sequel to the live-action film "Gintama", which became the No. 1 hit of 2017, and the title of the song is "Dai Fujo".

Gintama" is a popular manga series by Hideaki Sorachi that has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 2004. Set in the parallel world of Edo, the manga is a painful entertainment that depicts gags, spectacular action, and deep human emotions.
The live-action version of "Gintama," directed by Yuichi Fukuda and starring Shun Oguri and featuring the most superb cast ever assembled, became a blockbuster hit in 2017, grossing 3.84 billion yen at the final box office and becoming the No. 1 live-action Japanese film of 2017. Its sequel,"Gintama 2: Code to Break" will be released on Friday, August 17.
The live-action film will be a hybrid of the hottest episode in the history of "Gintama," "Shin-Sen-Gumi Disturbance Arc," and the hilarious "Shogun Entertainment Arc," which features a popular hidden character, "Shogun-chan," the 14th Seiji Taishogun of the Edo Bakufu (the government of Edo). It wasalso announced that the theme song for the film will be a new song by back number, "Dai-fu-seikai" (大不正解).

back number has been a big fan of the original work for some time, and their new song "Dai-fu-seikai" was written as the theme song for the film. It will be their first new song since the long-running hit "Shinki" released last December.

Yori Shimizu, vocalist and guitarist , commented on the theme song, "I've been reading 'Gintama' every week since it first appeared in JUMP, so it was like writing a song about friendship for a friend I've known for 14 years, but I was genuinely happy and had fun writing it. I think we were able to sing about the 'Gintama' world inside of us and the 'Gintama' moments in our real lives with a level of passion that we haven't really ventured into. commented the producer of the film, Masashi Matsuhashi.

I have been reading "Gintama" every week since it first appeared in JUMP, so I felt a sense of embarrassment as if I were writing a song about friendship for a friend I have known for 14 years, but I was genuinely happy and enjoyed making it.
