ULTRAMAN" is a manga series by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, the creators of "Line Barrel of Iron" and other works, serialized in "Heroes Monthly" and has become popular for its world view based on the popular special effects work "Ultraman" and its many novel settings, including the mechanically designed Ultraman suit. It is a popular work that has sold more than 2.8 million copies in total.
In December 2017, a full 3DCG animation version was announced.

The film will be directed by Kenji Kamiyama, director of the "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C." series and "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari," and Shinji Aramaki, director of "APPLESEED" and "Starship Troopers: Red Planet. Production I.G x SOLA DIGITAL ARTS is producing the film.


This time, aiming for "Ultraman as no one has ever seen him before" in terms of visuals, the work will be produced as a full 3DCG animation by the world's leading luxury staff.
