Ace Attorney" is an anime based on the popular adventure game "Ace Attorney," which has sold more than 6.7 million copies in total. It has gained popularity for its well-crafted scenario and unique characters, and has been adapted into various media mixes, including a stage version by the Takarazuka Revue and a live-action film.
The first season, which depicted the activities of rookie lawyer Ryuichi Narihodo, aired for six months from April 2016, and Season 2, which returns after a two-year absence, depicts its sequel. In the second season, the original story will be supervised by the director of the original game, Fun Takumi. As in the first season, the director is Ayumi Watanabe, who directed the "Doraemon" series and "Space Brothers," the series composition is by Atsuhiro Tomioka, who directed "Pokemon" and "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo R," and the character design and general Keiko Ota will be in charge of the character design and chief animation director. Animation production will be handled by CloverWorks.
