Spider, what is it? Anime adaptation project underway!　Comments from the original author and illustrator are also available!

The popular light novel series "Spider, desu ka?", which has sold more than 1.2 million copies (as of July 2018) is currently being adapted into an anime.

Spider, desu dake, nanika? is a light novel written by Baba O, which has been published on the online novel site "Shosetsu-kaero-narou," and has received a total of over 370 million PVs. It is about a former human high school girl, "I," who is reborn as the weakest monster, "Spider," in another world. She is reborn in a dungeon inhabited by poisonous frogs, giant snakes, giant monkeys, and other monsters of a higher rank than she is, and fights to survive.
The light novel of the same title published in book form by Kadokawa Books is currently in its 9th volume (illustrated by Ryuji Teruki), while the comic of the same title serialized in the free webcomic "Young Ace AUP" (drawn by Asahiro Kakashi) is in its 5th volume.

This time, the latest 9 volumes of the light novel and the latest 5 volumes of the comics were released simultaneously on July 10, 2018 (Tuesday).
