PC version of "Monster Hunter: World" will be distributed on Steam on August 10! Pre-ordering starts today!

The PC version of "Monster Hunter: World" will be released on the PC gaming platform Steam on Friday, August 10*. Pre-orders are being accepted from today, July 10 (Tuesday).

The "Monster Hunter" series is a hunting action game in which players face off against giant monsters in a magnificent natural setting. In "Monster Hunter: World," the latest title in the series and the first for a console in nine years, players become hunters who set foot on a "new continent" as part of a survey team and explore an unknown continent.

The PS4 version of the game, released in January 2018, has shipped more than 8 million units worldwide (over 8 million units in April 2018). The PS4 version, released in January 2018, has become a record-breaking blockbuster title, shipping more than 8 million units worldwide (as of April 16, 2018).

The PC version, which will be released on Steam on August 10 (Friday), will have the same basic game content as the PS4 version, and will of course support various updates and event quests, as well as additional setup functions tailored to the PC environment, such as keyboard-based operation. ■Origin Series Armor
A series of armor (head, torso, arm, waist, and leg parts) that recreates the look of the hunters in the first "Monster Hunter" game, a nostalgic item for fans of the series. This equipment has defensive capabilities useful for advancing safely through quests in the early stages of the game, and has additional equipment skills useful for foraging.

This equipment provides two equipment skills: "Attack," which increases the player's attack power, and "Spirit's Blessing," which reduces damage taken by the player with a certain probability.
