Teaser Visual for Second Season of Anime "Mob Psycho 100" Unveiled! Broadcasting from January 2019

A teaser visual for "Mob Psycho 100 II," the second season of the TV anime "Mob Psycho 100," has been released, revealing that it will air next year.

Mob Psycho 100" is an anime work based on a web manga serialized in Manga One by ONE, known for "One Pan Man". It depicts a clumsy junior high school student who tries to seal off his psychic powers and live a normal life, but ends up encountering a phony psychic, evil spirits, and a mysterious organization. The original work was completed last December, and the final 16th volume will be published on July 19.
The first TV anime season will be broadcast in 2016, directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa of "Death Parade," series composition by Koji Seko of "Ajin," character design by Yoshimichi Kameda, animation director of "One Pan Man," music by Kenji Kawai of "Ghost in the Shell," and production by Bones.

The teaser visual released this time foreshadows the story of the second season, depicting Shigeo Kageyama (a.k.a. Mob), Shinryu Reigen, and the evil spirit Ekubo standing in a desolate townscape, looking at a flying tower.
The second season, which will feature action as well as a moving story about the inner lives of Mob and Reigen, is scheduled to air in January 2019. Expect more news on the new series, which will be produced by the same staff as the first season.
