UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH" is a 2D fighting game series that began operating in arcades in 2012 and has gained popularity for its appealing characters depicted in a unique light novel-like world and sophisticated competitive nature.

In "UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[st]," the latest title in the series, four new "Inverses"-Mika, Phonon, Wagner, and Enkidu-gather together and begin a new series of fierce battles under "The Empty Night.
