TABLE PONG, a table equipped with ATARI's classic game "PONG," is now available exclusively at the IDC OTSUKA Shinjuku showroom!
Taito is now selling the "TABLE PONG" table featuring ATARI's classic video game "PONG" at the Otsuka Kagu IDC OTSUKA Shinjuku showroom, a general interior sales outlet, for a limited time through August 31 (Friday), 2012.
TABLE PONG" is a coffee table with an innovative and stylish design that fuses retro and technology based on the classic video game released by ATARI (USA) in 1972.
The game system itself follows the original, with retro sound effects and blinking effects on reflections faithfully reproduced. However, the game screen is not an LCD panel or CRT, but an "elemeka," in which the ball and paddle are controlled by magnetic force and motors from behind the glass surface inside the glass table.
The control panel lid can be closed to create a stylish retro-style coffee table, and it also features an LED clock display that emits a pleasant light in the room when not in use, a Bluetooth speaker for music playback, and a USB port (4 ports) for charging smartphones and other devices.
During the sales period, anyone can experience TABLE PONG at the IDC OTSUKA Shinjuku showroom, so why not visit the store?
