To put it mildly, it was still beyond psycho! I attended the "DriFest! Illusion Show Time" and the high-touch event!

From July 14 (Sat.) to July 16 (Mon.), 2018, at DMM VR THEATER in Yokohama, Japan, "DriFest! Illusion Show Time in DMM VR THEATER" (hereafter, Illusion Show Time) was held again at DMM VR THEATER in Yokohama. R" is a "5-D idol support project" that links 5 male idols of 2-D rookies with the actual (3-D) cast. The TV anime aired in the fall of 2016 and October 2017.

R" will appear in the world's first 3DCG theater, the "DMM VR THEATER," and will feature holographic live performances by the popular "DearDream" (Kanade Amamiya, Shin Oikawa, Junya Sasaki, Itsuki Katagiri, Chigetsu Sawamura) and "KUROFUNE" (Keigo Kazama, Hayato Kuroishi) units from "DOLIFES! The holographic live performance will be held at the world's first 3DCG theater, "DMM VR THEATER".
DMM VR THEATER" is the world's first permanent theater that provides stage performances using "holographic," a special visual expression that allows the audience to see realistic 3D images without wearing 3D glasses. The images are projected as if the subject were present on the stage, allowing visitors to enjoy the film with powerful images and effects.
Screens on both sides of the stage show cut-in "Dream Appeal" scenes seen in DATA CARDDASS and apps, and the extravagant live performance with costume changes for each song is something that "DOLIFESSE! This event was divided into three performances: "A," "B," and "C." The A performance featured "TRAFFIC SIGNAL" (Kanade Amamiya, Shin Oikawa, and Junya Sasaki), the B performance featured "W-MaSKat" (Itsuki Katagiri and Chigetsu Sawamura), and the C performance featured "KUROFUNE" (Keigo Kazama and Hayato Kuroishi). (Itsuki Katagiri and Sengen Sawamura), and a variety corner by "KUROFUNE" (Keigo Kazama and Hayato Kuroishi) at the C performance.

The two members of KUROFUNE were in charge of the "C" show, so the live started with a song by the two KUROFUNE members.

The audience cheered and stood in unison when the two members of KUROFUNE appeared on stage with the lines "I'm tired of waiting" (Yuto) and "Good day, Princess" (Keigo). When they performed the opening song "ARRIVAL -KUROFUNE Sail Away-," the audience cheered with full force, waving their penlights in the air.

After the first song, the two members of KUROFUNE introduced themselves once again.
When Yuto shouted "You are all open to the world! to which the audience responded, "Open up your country! and Keigo's "For you, I will accede to the throne. Keigo's "If it is for you, I will accede to the throne! The tension in the audience was soaring as the customary call and response took place.

Then, the variety corner "KUROFUNE comes through" was held to check the level of communication between the two.
The two members of KUROFUNE were assisted by DearDream members who were waiting in the sleeves, and it was a corner where the bond between the two KUROFUNE members could be glimpsed. The song by KUROFUNE that followed was choreographed and performed only at "Illusion Show Time", which excited the audience.

The live performance of "DearDream," "TRAFFIC SIGNAL," and "W-MaSKat" followed, and the audience was thrilled with the live performance.

A new interactive element of this performance was a "high-touch session" by Kanade Amamiya, the center of DearDream, after the live performance.
Fifty fans were selected by lottery to participate in the high touch event, and the popularity of the event was so great that many of their friends and acquaintances who unfortunately were not selected for the high touch event came up to them and asked what they thought of it.

I was also able to participate in this high-five meeting, though I may be presumptuous to say so.

The venue for the high-five meeting was a booth next to the stage, where merchandise sales and other events are usually held. Once inside, a partition was placed and Kanade-kun was waiting on the other side of the partition.

And while I was waiting, I could hear Kanade-kun's voice leaking out.

My heart was about to jump out of my mouth.
My heart rate was so high that I was afraid that the sound of my heartbeat would be heard even though I was silent, but it seemed that the fans around me were in the same state and had no time to pay attention to their surroundings.

Everyone in the line was preparing to meet Kanade-kun, adjusting their clothes and bangs in the mirror provided in the waiting area, looking only ahead!
They were not paying any attention to me, who was standing behind them.

At this point, I looked around again to compose myself.
Then, a woman who had just finished high-fiving crossed the street in front of me.
The expression on her face was already, how can I say it, a full smile that could truly be called bliss.
The next woman, too, had a flush on her cheeks, and her brain was on the verge of bursting at the seams.

I waited for about five minutes (actually, I think it was shorter, but I was so nervous, I guess this is what I call "a day in a thousand autumns"), watching them.

First of all, I put down my luggage and went in front of Kanade-kun.

I had so many things I wanted to say to him, but when I saw him in front of me, I couldn't come up with the right words!

As I was fumbling around, Kanade-kun greeted me with a cheery, "Nice to meet you! I was so embarrassed, but Kanade-kun greeted me with a cheery, "Nice to meet you! As if to ease my nerves, he said, "I'm so happy, I'm having so much fun, I think I'm going out of my mind." The idol's kindness in telling me that he was just as nervous as I was made me feel relaxed.
When we touched hands, he said, "Hamburger steak! He interrupted with a gag and said, "This is the best!　Thank you so much for today," Kanade-kun said with a big smile on his face.

This is the "high-touch meeting" .......

The writer left the venue very satisfied with the opportunity to meet and talk with idols. Looking around, I saw other fans enjoying the afterglow of the high-five.

I was about to leave the venue, too, excited about my first experience, when I suddenly noticed something.

I forgot to say "Happy Birthday" to Kanade-kun!

If there is another "high-touch event" next time, I would like to express my feelings properly that time.

R" is scheduled to hold a big live concert at the Nippon Budokan on October 20 (Sat.) and 21 (Sun.), which will be the culmination of the project!
