Chagami 888 is read as "Sajin Hachiju Hachiya. It is neither Chakami nor Happyak Hachijuhachiya. And Chagami 888 is a god.

He is not like the supermen and warriors who are active throughout Japan. He is a god of tea who descended to protect the whole of Shizuoka Prefecture, and is seen with the word "tea" on his face, a golden tea bowl embedded in his chest, and shining silver bowls on his shoulders. The armor protecting his body shines in iridescent colors. If you are familiar with special effects, you must know that the armor of the demons in "Masked Rider Hibiki" is made of the same material. Chagami 888 is the first local hero to use this high quality Majora color.

Shizuoka Prefecture

Shizuoka Prefecture, located in the Chubu and Tokai regions, has a total population of 3,659,018 (estimated population, June 1, 2018), making it the 10th most populous prefecture in Japan. The prefectural tree is the kumquat, the prefectural flower is the azalea, the prefectural bird is the sunbird, and the prefectural day is August 21. Shizuoka Prefecture was formed by the merger of the former provinces of Izu, Suruga, and Toe, so even within the same prefecture, there are aspects of culture and customs that are different.

It is a scenic prefecture that occupies a large part of the area of the Fifty-three Stages of the Tokaido Highway, from which the sword wielded by Yamatotakeru during his conquest of the Emishi was named after the Kusanagi Sword.

Shizuoka is divided into three areas: Eastern, Central, and Western.

The eastern part is home to many tourist attractions. The Descent of the Tea God

The tea god 888 has descended twice in history, the first time dating back to mythical times.

During the Kamiyo period, a mysterious four-and-a-half-tatami-mat tea house existed on Suruga Bay. It was in this tea house, which was also a place of relaxation for the people, that they communicated with the tea god through tea. However, due to severe frost damage in early spring, the teahouse sank and the tea god disappeared. Time passed, and in 2009, Chagami 888 descended again, concerned about the loss of humanity, the heart of tea, and tea culture.

As of 2018, his fame has spread nationwide, but at the time of his descent, various heroes were active in Shizuoka Prefecture, which has many tourist attractions and places of interest. As I mentioned earlier, the three areas have different histories, so each area had a crowd of unique heroes.

Since social networking services were not as widespread as they are now, and blogs were the main media, it was difficult to find out information about heroes in other areas. At that time, hero shows were the best way to spread awareness.

Chagami 888 was a pioneer of a new type of hero, an authentic cultural hero who did not engage in flashy actions, but enjoyed the tea ceremony and loved calligraphy. This "wall-don" and "I'll hold you! and "agokui" (a gesture of raising a woman's chin) combo spread instantly throughout Japan via SNS, captivating not only female fans but also local heroines, female executives, and female monsters from all over the country.

In addition, the popular "wall-don" wall was auctioned on Yahoo! Auctions and featured in compilation news blogs, making its name known to the general public outside of hero fans. The "wall-don," "I'll hold you! and "I'm going to hold you!", Chagami 888, a man who has been known for his "jaw-don" and "jaw-ripping".

Recently, he has been making waves in the industry. He has been working out hard and boasts a body as beautiful as that of an American comic book hero. He also seems to be showing off his new special move, a "fist that silences mischievous kids who playfully mess with Chagami888 at town festivals by touching his cracked six-pack.
