PS4 "Conan Outcasts," to be released on August 23, reveals the "land of exile" where the game takes place and the "incarnation of a god" who possesses great power!

Spike Chunsoft has released information about "Conan Outcasts" for PS4, scheduled for release on Thursday, August 23, 2018, regarding the "land of exile" where the game takes place and the "divine incarnation" that players can summon. Conan Outcasts" will be released on PS4 on Thursday, March 31, 2012.

Conan Outcasts" is an open-world survival action game based on Robert E. Howard's "Conan the Hero" series of heroic fantasy novels. The player becomes a criminal who was saved from being crucified in the desert by the hero Conan, and his goal is to build his own kingdom and rule the world while surviving the harsh environment.

Information on the "land of exile," where the game takes place, and the "incarnations of gods" that players can summon has now been released. The game will be available for worldwide multiplayer play, but thanks to the cooperation of Funcom, the developer of the game, a dedicated server for Japan will be set up!　Only players from Japan will be able to connect to this server, allowing them to enjoy the game in a fair environment without having to worry about differences in progress or strength with overseas players who are ahead of them.

■Game Stage
The "Land of Exile," where the game takes place, is extremely vast, and the climate and ecosystems differ greatly from region to region. Below are the characteristics of each of the three major regions.


＜ The South and Southwest
The southern region, which is all rock and sand, is the main setting for the early stages of the game. Surprisingly, it is not a very harsh environment, as it is warm, has a large river running east to west, and is inhabited by small animals that can be hunted. The protagonist, exiled as a criminal, is rescued by the hero Conan when he is being crucified in the desert south of the river.


<The North
The northern part of the country is a cold region, covered with snow and ice all year round. You will need adequate cold-weather gear to live in this region. Some materials, such as ice, can only be obtained here. There is a volcano in the northernmost part.


＜ Eastern Region
The eastern part of the country is a lush tropical area. It is not a safe place, as tigers, leopards, and other ferocious beasts sometimes emerge from the bushes. The wreckage of ships and ruins are scattered everywhere, suggesting that civilization once flourished here.


■God Incarnate
In the world of this work, there are six main gods that are believed in, and players also choose their own faith when making their characters. Each of the deities that are the object of belief has different characteristics, and players can create items according to the characteristics of the deity they believe in by building altars. Players can also summon incarnations of powerful deities.
