PS4/Xbox One/PC "Ghost Recon Wildlands," the second major free update "Special Operation 2" is available today, July 24!
Ubisoft will release Special Operation 2, the second YEAR 2 major free update for the open-world military shooter game "Ghost Recon Wildlands" for PS4, Xbox One and PC today, Tuesday, July 24.
This update will include an update to the PvP "Ghost War" and a new PvE mode called "Ghost Mode," as well as special PvE missions. A teaser trailer for "Special Operation 2" has also been released.
New Ghost Mode
Ghost Mode is a new PvE mode that can be played in both solo and co-op mode, allowing YEAR 2 Pass holders to experience thrilling new features such as total death and realistic reloads starting today, July 24 (Tuesday).
Complete Death: A downed character dies if he or she is not revived or leaves the session. When a character dies, he or she is completely dead and all progress is lost.
New loadouts: Each character can have one main weapon and one sidearm .
Realistic reloading: Each reload will result in the loss of ammunition left in the discarded magazine.
Friendly Fire: Players can inflict damage on their allies .
Equipment management: weapons can only be modified in ammo boxes, weapon cases and parts cases
Teammate removal: Players can now play without AI teammates if they prefer to play solo (also selectable in cambane mode).
■New features to be added in "Special Operation 2
In addition to Ghost Mode, "Special Operation 2" adds a variety of new features.
Two new PvP classes will be released soon (available to Year 2 Pass holders starting July 24).
Two new PvP maps (including a highly requested snow map)
Spectator camera: A new spectator camera has been added to allow players to watch custom PvP maps using tools and the free-roam camera.
New rank function: A new rank progress bar has been added, allowing players to check their current status.
Post-match screen: A post-match screen has been added to show the winning team.
Social items: New social items such as emotes, dialogue, and victory poses (these items can also be used in campaign mode).
If you want to be the first to play these new features, purchase the "Ghost Recon Wildlands" YEAR 2 Pass to get 7 days of early access, two Ghost War classes, and an exclusive customization pack. If you do not have the YEAR 2 Pass, you can play for free starting July 31.
