The Blu-ray of "Chojin Rock <The Movie>" will be released on November 7 (Wed.).

Superhuman Rock" is a science fiction manga series by Yuki Sei, which has been drawn since the first work was created in 1967 and is still being serialized today. Centering on the main character Rock, who lives thousands of years in the past, the manga depicts people living in various circumstances and the history of mankind's expansion into the galaxy.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of its birth and the 35th anniversary of its first animated version, Shochiku will release the Blu-ray of "Chojin Rock <The Movie>," the first animated version of the popular "Chojin Rock" series, on November 7 (Wednesday).

Based on the long-running manga series that continues to be published in different magazines, "Chojin Rock" was first animated on March 11, 1984 with the original episode "The Witch's Century," and has been revived in high-definition quality using the HD telecine version!

The main character, Rock, a boy who lives forever, is played by Keiichi Namba, who would gain popularity for his role as Kazuya Uesugi in "Touch"; Ryu Yamaki is played by Yoshito Yasuhara, famous for his role as Toshio Utsumi in "Cat's Eye"; Keiko Ban plays Jessica; and Yoshiko Fujita, Hidekatsu Shibata, Mieko Nobuzawa, Banjo Galaxy, Shigeru Chiba The film's cast, which was the best at the time of its release, is also a highlight!

In addition, the Blu-ray jacket features a new illustration drawn by Yuki Sei for this release, so be sure to check it out.
