The key visual of "Made in Abyss", the comprehensive feature film version, is unveiled! The film will be released in January next year!

The release date of the TV anime "Made in Abyss," which will be released this winter as a compilation of the theater version, has been decided, and the key visual has been unveiled.

Made in Abyss" is a manga series by Akihito Tsukushi on the web comic site "Comic Gamma" (http://mangalifewin.takeshobo.co.jp/gamma/). It is a popular work that warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a young girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother, in the Abyss, a huge cavern that is unknown to how far it extends, and Oath, a city built on the edge of the cavern. The staff of the TV anime version includes Masayuki Kojima (director: "Black Bullet"), Hideyuki Kurata (series composition: "DRIFTERS"), and character design: "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character design), and animation production is by Kinema Citrus. On November 26, 2017, after the broadcast, the production of the sequel was announced at the "Deep in Abyss Storytelling" event to discuss "Made in Abyss," and a theatrical compilation will be released this winter in March 2018.
