YuYu Hakusho" is an anime work based on the popular comic series by Yoshihiro Togashi serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). The main character, a juvenile delinquent named Urameshi Yusuke, dies in a car accident while trying to save a child. The story depicts Urameshi's efforts to protect the peace between the human world and the spirit world by defeating powerful enemies one after another along with Kuwabara, his bickering friend, and Kurama and Tobikage, whom he meets on a mission. 112 episodes were broadcast from October 1992 to January 1995, and a movie version was released in 1993 and 1994. In 1993 and 1994, a movie version was released.
To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Yū Yu Hakusho TV anime adaptation, a four-volume "Yū Yu Hakusho 25th Anniversary Blu-ray BOX" will be released in July 2018.

I never thought that after 25 years, I would get to play Kurama once again...!
I was very happy and deeply moved.
Kurama is a "yokai that has lived for hundreds of years," so even though he looks like a high school student, inside he is an old man. It was my debut work, and at the time I was too much of a child inside, but in that sense, I am a little closer to my age now, so I don't need the curse of "I must be young," which is common when performing another work after ...... many years have passed. I'm glad that I don't have to curse myself to be young. (Laughs) The junior high school version of Shuichi Minamino also passed the test and I breathed a sigh of relief (laughs).
It was hard to believe that it had been so long since the postrecording session with Director Abe, P. Hagino, and most of the members gathered together, but it was just as it was back then....... I realized once again that this place was another "youth" for me, and the starting point of this work, which continues to this day. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it. Today's good-bye is the beginning of the future" (Kurama's song). I hope everyone enjoys it.

I have recently had the opportunity to play the role of Tobikage as the voice of a game, but it had been a long time since I voiced an animated film, so I really enjoyed it.
It was a bit of a reunion atmosphere as I got to meet all the co-stars through their characters.
I hope that fans from back then will enjoy the same nostalgia as we did, and new fans will enjoy the world of "YuYu Hakusho" as it is today.

＜STORY
Amidst the commotion of a series of mysterious disappearances, Kurama is confessed his feelings by Maya, a classmate at the school he attends as Shuichi Minamino. Meanwhile, Tobikage, who is searching for Yukina's whereabouts, is also visiting the town. Kurama and Tobikage join forces for their own purposes to foil the plans of a powerful yokai, Hatsute. This short story describes the encounter between Kurama and Tobikage.
